We are so excited to add these beautiful handmade wooden insects to our range.
There are about 24,000 species of butterfly. Butterflies don’t actually eat, they drink. They use their mouth which acts like a straw to sip on their food. They use their feet to taste their food when they land on it. That’s how they test if it’s good to eat.
All of the insects in this collection feature incredible detail and are such a lovely hands on way for children to learn about different types of animals and the important roles they play in our ecosystem.
Wooden animal figures have long been used as a hands on educational tool to help children learn about different animals and the world around them while also having lots of fun engaging in imaginative play.
Our wooden insects are perfect for small world and educational play while also being a beautiful piece to display.
