Cockatoo’s feed mostly on berries, seeds and nuts. They are one of the most popular domesticated birds despite their cheeky and mischievous nature! They typically live between 40 – 70 years in the wild and even longer in captivity. There are 21 types of Cockatoo with the Yellow Crested Cockatoo being the most common.
Each of these beautiful wooden bird toys is made entirely of wood, then manually sanded, so there are no sharp edges making them safe for even for the smallest hands. They are then hand-painted using only water-based, non-toxic colours. Finally they are finished with a final coat of beeswax and olive oil for a natural feeling.
All of Noelino’s wooden toys are made of natural materials, inspired by Montessori and Waldorf’s self-paced and experimental approach to learning. They encourage unstructured play not only for your child’s physical health but also for their mental development, and their toys will support both.

[All of toys in the Noelino range are made of solid wood. Unlike plastic, wood is a non-uniform natural material that will often feature growth rings, knots, grain patterns, coloured spots or rough areas. They are distinctive signs that show the toys natural origin and give uniqueness to each piece, while also telling the story of the tree from which it was made.]
