Artic foxes can be found to the north of the Artic circle in areas such as Canada, Russia, Europe, Greenland and Iceland. Their fur allows them to camouflage themselves in both winter and summer – in winter they have a soft fluffy white coat so they can blend into the snow and in summer they shed this for a brownish, grey coat which allows them to blend into the bare rocks and dirt. They aren’t fussy about food and will eat almost anything including insects, fruit, birds and rodents. In summer they will hide food under rocks to sustain them through the winter.

Each of these beautiful wooden figures has been carefully sketched, designed, tested, carved and painted by hand. This entire process is intricate, detailed and always involves a lot of love and care from start to finish.
